Etching - Art

About a week ago my class and I made some art called etching. I made this art with paint, paper and a popsicle stick. My theme was old memories because in my memories I had fun times and I wanted to make this art fun. I picked going to the beach and my nans house while taking photos to remember. I had to divide my page into three. Then I had to paint it using different colours if paint in the three divided places, I used orange, red and light green. Once that coat of paint was dried I had to paint another coat on it, that time I used yellow, gold and blue. While the second coat drying I had to draw on it with the popsicle stick.

Hot and cold colours

This art was inspired by Karl Apple. Karl Apple made his art with lines hot colours and cold colours. In my class we have been experimenting with hot and cold colours. 

3D Collage

Last week my class and I went on a class trip to Te Tuhi. At Te Tuhi I learnt how to make a 3D collage. I put a little bit of humor in mine. Would you like me to show you how it's made? if so comment below.

Matariki art (Van Gogh)

This art is Matariki Van Gogh art/style. The art is Van Gogh art because of the stars and the wavy parts (in the photo/artwork). This took my class and I about a week and two days. My classes and my art is now being displayed in the school hall for Matariki.

I found this art fun

because I got to stamp paint on the

paper with cotton buds.

But my favorite part was dying the paper

I found it satisfying.

My class and I made collage animals a few weeks ago.

It was so much fun I think the best part was
scribbling on the paper
with a few crayons (I went mad with the crayons) it was fun.
