I adopted a Tuatara.

I adopted a Tuatara.

Today I went to the Ouartura kiwi house to adopt a tuatara.  I
choose the tuatara because the tuataras relatives were extinct 200 million years ago.  The tuatara eats eggs, spiders, birds and frogs.  Tuataras live in burrows in the ground.

Hey La'Shae!

So cool to have you blogging with us these holidays on the Winter Learning Journey! I hope you are enjoying travelling around NZ and learning a little more about our country! It's great to see you have completed two activities already!

I think I would want to adopt a Tuatara too! They're so interesting and unique and it would eat all the scary spiders living in my house. I would name mine Spunk because I think they are a little spunky! What would you name your Tuatara??

I can't wait to read more of you blog as you continue to journey with us La'Shae!

Keep up the great work!

Nicky :)

Kia Ora La'Shae,
I really like how you chose a Tuatara to adopt, as the are historical creatures. I hope to see more of your learning.

Sincerely,
Cheska

Great work :). I like how you adopted a Tuatara. I never knew that Tuataras eat eggs, spiders, birds and frogs. Very interesting. See you in term 3 :)
