My class and I made collage animals a few weeks ago.

It was so much fun I think the best part was
scribbling on the paper
with a few crayons (I went mad with the crayons) it was fun.

At Last Medal Drought Broken!!!

At Last Medal Drought Broken!!!

At Last New Zealand lack of medals has been broken by two 16-year-olds Zoi Sadowski Synnott and Nico Porteous. The two 16-year-olds have won 1 bronze medal each in the 

Pyeongchang Winter Olympics for snowboarding  

Good job Zoi Sadowski Synnott and Nico Porteous I see a bright future ahead of you two.

My Amazing Holiday (Recount)

My Amazing Holiday.

In the holidays my family and I went on a family trip to my Nan’s house because we haven't seen my nan for a long time. My family woke up at 7.00 am and we left the house at 9.00 am in the morning to go to my Nans house. It was a long ride. My family and I arrived at my Nan’s house at 8.00 pm.  I was so tired I could sleep for a week.

At my Nan’s house there was the most beautiful view of the beach and the sea (she lives in Omio).  It’s just so wonderful to just stand there and look at the lovely view.

After looking at the amazing view we knocked on my Nan’s door.  She was so surprised to see us.  My Nan gave me and my brothers a big kiss and a tight hug. She was very happy.

We stayed at my Nan’s for about two weeks. We swam in the river, played at the school there - we played many outside games, roasted marshmallows in the fire and caught fish for dinner -  it was so delicious.  But best of all was spending time with my Nan.  It was so nice seeing her and I can't wait to she her again .
